What is #DragonDreaming
Less than a decade ago, the elderly in China combined elements from Rope Dart and Ribbon Spinning to create a fitness toy that is "Dragon Ribbon Dancing" (彩带龙) or "Fitness Dragon" (健身龙). They also called it Dancing Dragon (舞龙) as a part of China's revival of Fei-yi 非遗 Traditional and Cultural Heritage Arts. With the help of modern materials and electronics, Dragon Streamers became a popular tool to exercise, have fun with, and create art with!
My Mission: #FindTheOthers
While I definitely want to popularize this art around the world, the ultimate goal is to be genuinely myself so I can find others and encourage them to do the same. I have no intention to have any power over Dragons and this art, for I am only a servant of the community I hope to build.
(Honestly I just want to be Uncle Iroh when I grow up =)
